- Maia is being honored as the city's Youth Volunteer of the Year! We're so excited. There will be a little ceremony at the Sept. 13 City Council meeting.
- Maia's fundraising efforts have funded crossing flags! And, the city has earned a grant through the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) that will provide $585,000 (with the city matching funds of $120,000) for the design drawings required to build sidewalks from Valley Street to Big Rock Road all along Main Street. The design process is completely funded! Now we just need funds to build it.
